Production Stage Manager
& Performing Artist |
I am a stage manager, performer, and a teaching artist. This year, I will be graduating from the University of California, Irvine with B.A. degrees in Drama and Education Sciences.
I love dogs, children, and above all else, making art. Whether I am helping run a show, working on props, crocheting, or singing in the shower, I want to spread joy in the world through art. |
"When you want something, all the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it."
-The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho
I began my stage management journey two and a half years ago at UCI intending to focus on acting and performance, as I had for the previous decade. On a whim, I enrolled in a stage management class believing that I would gain some valuable skills and it would end there, but I fell in love and discovered that stage management was something I could actually be great at. Since then I have been jumping from show to show gaining experience and honing my management abilities. I have worked on musicals, straight plays, experimental theater, outdoor festivals, dance shows, and even a national ballet tour! Never in my wildest dreams did I think my stage management journey would offer me such a variety of experiences, and I am so grateful for the adventures and friends I’ve already made and for the ones that have yet to come.
